Importance of RC Gadgets to Kids
Children love to play. It is kind of a basic requirement to them; at least they don’t have much to think of like bills payable or mortgages. Therefore the extra free time that they get will most probably be focused on playtime. But on the side of that, it is super important that you remind them and get them to eat healthy nourishments per day, along with a couple healthy snacks in between. An example that worked for my children, is getting them to eat this delicious meal deal that contains a variety of health benefits, not only to children, it also works wonders with us adults too.
Play is essential and healthy in brain & psychological development of any human being as well as the physical development. But as the adage goes, all play and no work makes jack a mere boy.
This means that there must be some type of parental control and guidance exercised on your kid(s) on the amount of time that one spends playing. Mind you some play activities that a kid get involved in can be so addictive and having no positive impact either physically or in terms of brain development.
You don’t want your kid to go down that line.
That was the case of my son Nick. By the time he was six, Nick was completely addicted to video games and nothing could make him stop playing, not even my loud yelling which could be heard a mile down the subway. Being a single mom was proving hard to me. Nick had a way of getting into my nerves and getting away with it wherever he wanted. He had a unique way of looking and arguing with me that I always felt guilt and let it go.
It was when my younger sister, a mother of two, visited and I talked to him about Nick’s predicament that I realized the gravity of the problem that I was involved in. According to her, there needed to be changes in the manner with which my son spent his free time. She suggested encouraging him to play outdoors and that’s how the decision of buying him a radio controlled truck came about.
RC Devices Encourage Creativity
One thing I notice from the first few days that I trained nick on using the radio transmitter was that he became more creative. He tried all ways to know how to work on the different5 controls to yield the effects that he deemed suitable. Slowly what had been an obsession of repetitive video games turned into creative thinking as I went on to pile other RC devices to his toy stock.
That gave him the need to go and explore outdoors as he desired to have the best experiences with the toys, the best bit of all this was that he felt so grateful about what I was doing and it also strengthened the bond between me and him.
Playing Outdoors helped him Foster a Co-operation with Others
As much as outdoors wasn’t his thing, there was the need to adventure outside and play with other kids. This enabled him to create friendship as well as positive social ties with other kids as they played together. He grasped the need to share with other and coordinate well with them as they played.
He also started believing in sharing as the values of other kids he was were inculcated in his mind. That is one team spirit that I love him about and realize how positive it will eventually help him in his future life.
RC Devices Helps to Embrace the Advancements in Technology
Whenever I look at my growing boy, I see someone who wants to know about the next big thing happening in the technological world. With each new purchase of any gadget, comes some new innovation that mesmerizes him. He has come to learn the fact that technology rules the world by making it better – at least a better toy every time.
This is a positive step and hope that one day it will inspire him to venture into the technological world to better it as he seeks answers the way he always questions me about the changes made.
